Supporting women entrepreneurship is crucial to achieving economic emancipation of women. This is the reason eThekwini Municipality is hosting a Women Economic Empowerment Webinar on 15 September, themed “Disruptive value chains opportunities for women in business”.

 

The Webinar will officially kick-start a series of empowerment programmes and business competition verticals for the 22nd Durban Business Fair to run until 27 September.

 

It will feature experienced female entrepreneurs including Induduzo Bespoke Funerals Chief Operations Officer, Ayanda Njilo, Innate Investment Solutions founder, Lynette Ntuli and Transnet’s Chief Executive Officer, Thandi Sabelo. Speakers will discuss opportunities presented by technological advancements in business and share how digitally driven business models are crucial for the future.

 

The engagement will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium and will be streamed live on zoom and Durban Business Fair social media platforms.
