The Pinetown taxi rank, with its constant hustle and bustle, serves as a vital hub for commuters, traders, and passers-by. Our team saw this as an opportunity to connect with the community on a whole new level. Our outside broadcasting setup was strategically positioned amidst the colourful chaos of the taxi rank.
As the sun rose, so did the energy at the taxi rank. Our hosts mingled with commuters, taxi drivers, and vendors. We interviewed passengers waiting for their rides, capturing their stories, dreams, and daily struggles. From the elderly woman selling fresh produce to the loyal listeners that tracked us down to the rank, everyone had a tale to share with the common love they all share for Izwi LoMzansi.
